The Taliparamba Kendra of the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan was inaugurated by Mr. Justice V.S. Malimath, former Chief Justice of the Kerala High Court, in 1986. The Kendra started the Kindergarten classes the same year.The School is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi and has classes from L.K.G to Std XII. It prepares students for the All India Secondary School Examination (Std XII).The School's first batch appeared for the All India Secondary School Examination in 1995. It was in 1997, that the first batch appeared for the All India Senior School Certificate Examination.The School has been maintaining high standards in both the examinations.
Founded in 1938 by DR. K.M. Munshi, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan is today an all India intellectual, cultural and educational movement dedicated to the twin task of interpreting the age old yet ageless message of our country and of integrating our varied and vibrant culture with the changing needs of the present day world.
